With The New Tipmra now fully online, Updates will be incorporated into the Tipmra on a more regular basis. Nonetheless it is important to check here before proceeding to trial to see if any new updates have taken place. If the Update has been incorporated online then the Update Date and a short description will be given.
Some updates will not be incorporated for a while pending further review of how best to incorporate it into the Tipmra. There will be a link to those updates for anyone wishing to review it or add comments to it.
As new case laws are added they will be noted in the updates
There is a section under the updates that has information not in the Tipmra but may affect certain people. Some are additions to what is in the Tipmra.

October 27, 2006 New Discovery in Michigan case Law PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN, Plaintiff-Appellee, v. ZOLTON ANTON FERENCY. This is thanks to Ben Odziana who found it searching LexisNexis. Out thanks to his fine work. This case law should be of help to those in Michigan showing that there is a requirement for the calibration of the radar gun with tuning forks and that a mere internal calibration is not enough.

January 20, 2006: The Commonwealth of Virginia - Two good case laws - Crosby deals with hearsay evidence in radar calibration making certain evidence inadmissible - Myatt which enforces the requirement for both speedometer and tuning forks to have a six month calibration certificate.

Nov. 17, 2004 I have installed a search engine in the members area that searches both the Members area and the Main Tipmra Site. It is not a part of Yahoo or google but an internal search engine. You may have noticed a similar one in the Main area that only searches the main area.

Sept 29, 2004 Because of the Java Script used in the members area for page print it has been discovered that the java script I use interferes with browser hijackers. If you have this problem chances are that your browser has been hijacked by some unscrupulous entity. I have created a page to help cure you of this problem. I recommend that everyone view this page even if your browser has not been hijacked.
